Transcription: A marble screen with delicate bas-reliefs was created by Mino d'Afiesole in 1482 to separate the space before the altar, called the presbytery, from that reserved for the faithful, in accordance with the layout typical of the Oriental liturgy. It can still be admired today, together with the choir stall located on the right hand wall facing the altar.
